Can Ice resist..

Mahogany White's tolerance for anyone male is on the declining side of none. Humiliated once by that gender, she takes her commitment to singleness seriously. "Antarctica," "Ice Princess," and "The Queen of Mean" are just a few names she earns from those of that species who make the mistake of soliciting her
attention.

Then in strolls Daniel Allen, a man who redefines the meaning of persistence. Indifference, insults, curt replies appear to have zero impact on his tenacity. A determination to win her attention and later her heart is his sole goal. Along with his steadfastness comes a cannon load of charisma, a smile that can melt the most fortified heart, and a passion that pulls the object of his attention regardless of how resistant she is.

Mahogany begins to rethink her plan, but just when she begins to bask in his attention and enjoy the cocoon of caring he provides, trouble steps in, reigniting her past fears and threatening the future that was beginning to look certain.

Mahogany Allen loves her husband, Daniel, but does he love her?  His dedication to his church responsibilities is admirable.  However, with the church and job demands on his time, she feels like she's always playing second fiddle.  Feeling neglected, she starts resenting her husband.

With discontent simmering beneath the surface, it takes only one wrong word from Daniel to set his already frustrated and very feisty wife off.  Trouble travels with company; and the problem between them compounds when Mahogany finds evidence, suggesting that Daniel is cheating.  A past betrayal in a previous relationship shakes her confidence in his faithfulness, and she wonders if this marriage is a mistake.  With his wife's distrust, Daniel is afraid his marriage is headed in the wrong direction.
